Air France benefits from PXCom applications as they contribute highly to the onboard customer’s experience. The wide range of the proposed solutions rely on a very proactive team, understanding the need of our airline, resulting in a qualitative and valuable partnership. Relying on that success, we have recently decided to widen the scope of our collaboration with PXCom

REQUIREMENTS

Air France contracted PXCom to be provided with a full end-to-end solution for its destination section to be deployed across the entire long-haul fleet. It has been vital for the solution to be seamlessly integrated into the IFE software with the aim to enable direct connection between the produced content and the platforms. In addition, Air France required a highly flexible native advertising platform that would enable the airline’s advertising partners to seamlessly add new editorial templates, sections and other content featured on board.

SOLUTION DEPLOYED

PXCom introduced Air France to its leading XPlore by PXCom platform in order to meet the airline’s comprehensive set of expectations. XPlore by PXCom accommodated all requirements listed by Air France, helping the airline to avail of a full end-to-end solution, as expected. It integrates an API that automatically retrieves the destination content produced by the #AFTravelGuide team, and populates the IFE platforms with the latest content updates.

OUTCOMES

XPlore by PXCom has met and exceeded Air France’s requirements for this project. Airline’s passengers can now avail of multiple destination service listings. Having fully seized the power of XPLore by PXCom, Air France has decided to extend PXCom’ technology to other editorial sections such has the airline branding.
