Legacy digital advertising call to action
Air Asia had rolled out Rokki, its IFC passenger portal fleet-wide. Sustained by a great passenger connection rate, Air Asia wanted to enable targeted advertising both for its brand partners and onboard shopping promotion, but without consuming its connectivity. As AirSAS is the only independent award-winning digital inflight advertising platform, Air Asia decided to integrate it into Rokki.
PXCom fine-tune AirSAS in order to rely on the connectivity for campaign updates and analytics gathering only when the aircraft is at the hub. PXCom also provided full on-site support to AirSAS integration on Rokki. Inflight Media Digital, its JV with IMM International also supported the airline in the Media Kit definition and ad-sales process
In less than 2 months since the project’s kick-off, a successful trial on a subset of the fleet has been performed. AirSAS has then been rolled out on all Air Asia’ subsidiaries. Since its full fleet roll out in 2018 AirSAS has delivered more than 30m displays on Rokki, 50% dedicated to advertising partners and 50% for onboard shopping promotion.
